The compensating/vibration damping joints are used to absorb pipe vibrations and changes in length due to thermal dilation, misalignment and angular shifting. This function is carried out by a metal bellow inserted between the two connections.

With all versions, the parts that come into contact with the gas are stainless steel.

 With flanged versions, the flanges are swivel, therefore it is possible to adapt them more easily to the plant’s counter-flanges, thereby avoiding unnecessary mechanical strain on the bellow.
